Director of Civil Engineering
A federal contractor seeks a Director of Civil Engineering to provide leadership, technical oversight, and strategic direction for Department of Defense civil engineering projects. Responsibilities include guiding project execution, ensuring compliance with DoD standards, mentoring engineering teams, and driving innovation in civil/site design and infrastructure development.
Responsibilities
Lead complex civil design projects for DoD facilities.
Oversee technical documentation for stormwater management, utilities, and infrastructure.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams (architectural, structural, MEP).
Provide quality assurance and regulatory compliance oversight.
Mentor and manage engineering staff while setting strategic department goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
15+ years of civil/site design experience (DoD or military infrastructure preferred).
Proficiency with Civil 3D and related design tools.
Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000 per year.
