Base pay range
$150,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Vaco by Highspring Vaco is hiring a VP of Finance / Controller in Jacksonville, FL Comp : ~$150K base + bonus + equity Location : Fully onsite, Jacksonville, FL Industry : Construction (Onsite) This is the most senior accounting role, owning full-cycle GAAP accounting, month‑end close, and lender/investor reporting. Key Responsibilities
Lead accounting for construction & maintenance operations Own POC (percentage‑of‑completion) accounting and financial close Partner with ownership, PE firm, and interim CFO Manage Accounting Manager and core accounting processes Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics CPA preferred Strong Controller‑level experience Construction accounting & POC experience required Sage (Sage 100 or similar construction ERP) preferred Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan. Seniority level
