$200,000 to $300,000 per year. Education and length of practice are considered through a formal pay‑setting process to determine the final compensable salary (Base Pay Market Pay). Duties

The Dentist provides quality patient care in collaboration with other health care professionals. The incumbent will perform specific duties within his/her approved scope of practice and provide dental screenings, cleanings, X‑rays, and fillings. Specialty dental procedures such as root canal, restorations, and dentures will also be provided. Other duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Preventing, diagnosing, and treating diseases, injuries and malformation of the teeth, jaws and the oral cavity and its adjacent tissues and structures. Performing routine exams and teeth cleaning. Performing restorative procedures, including fillings and crowns. Performing comprehensive surgical care, including extractions and oral cancer screening. Performing routine and advanced prosthodontic care, including bridges, dentures, and dental implants. Performing routine periodontal care, including root canals, gum treatments, and supporting bone care. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications

United States Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen. Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine from an approved U.S. or Canadian school of dentistry. Residency or comparable experience in general practice or specialty, or comparable experience treating medically compromised patients. Licensure and Registration: Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in a U.S. state, territory, Commonwealth, or District of Columbia. English Language Proficiency: Proficient in basic written and spoken English. Physical Requirements: Must pass a pre‑employment physical examination; moderate lifting up to 44 lbs, carrying objects up to 15 lbs, frequent reaching above shoulder, use of fingers, hands and legs, ability to walk and stand up to 8 hours, bending and climbing, and hearing whisper. Requirements

Applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program and the COVID‑19 vaccination program is required. May be required to serve a probationary period. Subject to background/security investigation. May be required to complete an online onboarding process. Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP)

The position is eligible for the EDRP, a student loan payment reimbursement program. Applicants must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit the EDRP application within four months of appointment. EDRP award amounts (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined after review of the application. Former participants are ineligible. Benefits
