OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT . Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis and will remain on file through December 31, 2024. The first cut-off date is December 30,2024. Eligible applicants will then be referred every 2 weeks until positions are filled.
Applications will only be accepted from US Citizens.
Duties This position is eligible for
the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) , a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.
The Dentist provides quality patient care in collaboration with other health care professionals. The incumbent will perform specific duties within his/her approved scope of practice. The Dentist is assigned to provide dental screenings, cleanings, X-rays, and fillings. He/She will also provide specialty dental procedures like root canal, restorations, and dentures.
Other duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Dental screenings, cleanings, X-rays, and fillings.
Root canal, restorations, and dentures.
