Summary The Director of Sales is responsible for developing, executing, and leading the overall sales strategy for a three-hotel complex. This role oversees all sales efforts across the portfolio, ensuring consistent brand representation, revenue growth, and market penetration while maximizing occupancy, ADR, and total revenue. The Director of Sales will lead and mentor the on-property sales teams, build strong client relationships, and collaborate closely with operations, revenue management, and marketing to drive profitable business.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for all three hotels, aligned with ownership and brand goals

Lead, coach, and manage the sales teams across the portfolio, including hiring, training, and performance management

Drive group, corporate, transient, and leisure sales across all market segments

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, travel managers, meeting planners, and local partners

Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, forecasting, and demand strategies

Conduct regular sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and performance reporting for each property

Create and manage annual sales budgets, goals, and action plans for each hotel

Represent the hotels at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions

Ensure accurate use of CRM systems and adherence to brand standards and reporting requirements

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and economic conditions to adjust strategies proactively

Qualifications

Minimum of 5–7 years of hotel sales leadership experience, preferably in a multi-property or complex environment

Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets

Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities

Experience working with CRM systems, revenue management tools, and sales analytics

Ability to travel between properties as needed
