Director of Sales
for their extended stay property in
Columbus, OH . This role offers the opportunity to lead sales strategy for a select-service hotel with a strong group and corporate business mix. Compensation:
$80,000 - $85,000 + 20% bonus, full benefits package, and comprehensive professional development
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to drive social, group, and corporate market business
Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve revenue goals through strong ADR and occupancy strategies
Actively pursue new business through networking, cold calling, warm leads, and sales blitzes
Monitor market trends and maintain competitive industry knowledge
Lead and mentor sales team members
Utilize and maintain proficiency in sales software and reporting systems
Deliver outstanding customer service and professionalism
Qualifications
2+ years of hotel sales experience required
Proven "hunter" mentality with strong business development focus
Creative and innovative thinker who can approach sales differently
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Hospitality sales background with a track record of success
Extended stay or select-service hotel experience preferred
Columbus market knowledge a plus
