Summary
The Senior Program Manager serves as the Office of Study Abroad (OSA) representative to overseas partners in collaboration with the Director of Study Abroad on student health, safety, academic and disciplinary issues, and crisis management abroad. This position manages the growing portfolio of Newcomb‑Tulane College (NTC) summer study abroad programs and engages in robust, data-driven evaluation of all OSA programs. This position reports to the Director of Study Abroad.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Sophisticated knowledge of the field of study abroad.
Ability to write clearly and to devise effective communication strategies to facilitate the study abroad experience for all stakeholders.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with overseas partners.
Strong crisis management skills and knowledge of best practices in the field of health, safety, and security in international education.
Strong organizational skills and knowledge of budgets.
Skilled in program assessment including the development of program surveys and evaluation of program data.
Ability to travel abroad, as required by position.
Required Education And/or Experience
Bachelors’ Degree in a field related to international education.
2 years of experience related to the field of study abroad.
Experience living or studying overseas.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters’ Degree in a field related to international education.
Experience working with Terra Dotta, Banner, Qualtrics and website content software.
