Office Manager - Study Abroad Business Support

Summary of Job Duties The Office Manager supports the daily operations of the Office of Study Abroad & International Exchange.
Analyze and manage the international travel registry, ensuring full compliance with international travel policies and regulations.
Oversee scholarship and funding opportunities for students participating in study abroad programs, including promotional activity, the application process, and award disbursement.
Support the contract and memorandum of understanding processes for University of Arkansas-administered study abroad programs.
Answer and direct telephone calls and emails from students, parents, faculty, and staff to appropriate departments or individuals.
Monitor office supplies and manage the ordering process for new stationery, furniture, appliances, and electronics as necessary.
Coordinate and facilitate trainings for new office employees.
Assist new office employees with their employment paperwork in collaboration with GSIE Human Resources.
Ensure the office is well-maintained, safe, and clean, including overseeing repairs and maintenance of appliances and office equipment.
Monitor peer advisors to ensure that they stay on task with their responsibilities.
Support the office with outreach, marketing and event initiatives.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Minimum Qualifications The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in public administration, general business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
At least three years of professional or administrative experience
Experience with University of Arkansas Workday system, Starfish, Razorbuy, and Terra Dotta Risk Management Tool
Experience using databases and Excel spreadsheets
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional demeanor and work discreetly with confidential records and information
Salary Information 39,930.00
