Our client is a global manufacturing corporation that has consistently grown throughout the United States over the past 5 years—opening up brand new facilities across the country. Their site located outside of Chicago has been growing in recent years and looking to bring some new EH&S talent to the plant. Main duties of the EH&S Manager include:
Ensure the facility is adhering to strict OSHA and EPA regulations and requirements
Lead all safety inspections
Oversee and lead a team of safety and environmental specialists
Develop new policies for emergency preparedness, confined spaces and all equipment safeguarding
Work closely with the Plant Manager to improve all EH&S functions throughout the facility
Qualifications include:
BS in an EH&S field. Masters degree strongly preferred
At least 5-10 years of experience leading EH&S functions for a manufacturing site
Strong OSHA and EPA experience
Strong air and wastewater experience
