Our client is a global manufacturing corporation that has consistently grown throughout the United States over the past 5 years, opening brand-new facilities across the country. Their plant located outside of Chicago is expanding and seeks an EH&S Manager to strengthen safety and environmental programs. The role offers high matching on 401(k) plans and excellent work/life balance. Base Pay Range
$90,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Main Duties
Ensure the facility is adhering to strict OSHA and EPA regulations and requirements. Lead all safety inspections. Oversee and lead a team of safety and environmental specialists. Develop new policies for emergency preparedness, confined spaces, and all equipment safeguarding. Work closely with the Plant Manager to improve all EH&S functions throughout the facility. Qualifications
BS in an EH&S field; a master’s degree strongly preferred. At least 5‑10 years of experience leading EH&S functions for a manufacturing site. Strong OSHA and EPA experience. Strong air and wastewater experience. Seniority Level
