deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Senior Automated Software Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL.
Position Description deciBel Research seeks a senior software test engineer to support the GMD Weapon System (GWS) team on the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) system. On the Ground Support Systems (GSS) IPT, you will be responsible for scheduling the tests for execution as well as monitoring, measuring, controlling, and reporting on the test progress, the product quality status, and the test results. Candidates must have the ability to adapt the test plan and compensate as needed to adjust for evolving conditions.
Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field from an accredited university with five years' experience, or a Masters degree and three years' experience.
Experience Requirements
Experience designing, developing, implementing, and executing test plans, integration plans, and procedures to complete system-level integration testing
Ability to understand and interpret requirements and test guidance
Experience developing testing criteria to successfully satisfy requirements.
Experience in C++ development
Experience using Python and other scripting languages
Experience using Eggplant or other GUI based tool set
Experience with Gitlab or Bitbucket
Special Skills Desired
Security+ certification
GMD/MDA Experience
Java experience/understanding
Experience using Cameo
Active, in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret clearance
Applicant selected must have an active Top Secret security clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
