Position Overview The Compensation Consultant is responsible for designing, administering, and optimizing compensation programs to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, and compliance with global regulations. This role partners with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders to provide expert guidance on pay decisions, conduct market analyses, and support scalable compensation frameworks across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management:

Develop and maintain base pay, variable pay, and recognition programs aligned with business objectives.

Job Architecture:

Manage job families, levels, and profiles in Workday, ensuring consistency and governance.

Market Analysis:

Conduct benchmarking and pricing reviews using global salary surveys and external market data.

Consulting & Advisory:

Advise HR and business leaders on compensation philosophy, pay structures, and individual pay actions.

Annual Cycle Execution:

Lead merit, bonus, and stock processes using Workday Advanced Compensation; ensure accurate data and timely reporting.

Analytics & Reporting:

Perform compensation modeling, pay equity reviews, and deliver executive-level insights.

Compensation & Governance:

Ensure adherence to U.S. and international regulations, pay transparency laws, and internal audit requirements.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to enhance tools, workflows, and reporting for efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field

3–7 years of experience in compensation or total rewards, including global market exposure

Advanced Excel skills and experience with large datasets

Strong knowledge of Workday HRIS and Advanced Compensation module

High attention to detail, strong judgment, and ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.

Familiarity with salary survey platforms (Mercer, Radford, WTW, etc.)

Ability to work in

hybrid

environment

Preferred

CCP certification or progress toward certification

Experience with pay equity analysis and global compliance
