Mountain Ridge Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team in Black Mountain, NC. The ADON will support the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department, ensuring exceptional patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the Director of Nursing with daily operations and management of the nursing staff.
Ensure delivery of high-quality nursing care in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Support staff development through training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes.
Participate in policy development and implementation to maintain regulatory standards.
Manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing across all shifts.
Handle patient and family concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Requirements
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a long-term care or rehab setting.
Previous leadership or management experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of nursing regulations, quality assurance, and care standards.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
Competitive salary range of $90,000.00 - $110,000.00, paid semi-monthly.
