Position Overview Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP EWM Consultant . As a Principal Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team and a subject matter expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include intensive involvement in business process consulting; defining the problem, proposing and creating solutions; developing, configuring, and deploying the overall solution; guiding teams on project processes and deliverables; contributing to proposal development, client training, and internal capability building; and detailing project scope. This role provides the opportunity to shape value‑adding consulting solutions that enable clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of every year of education.
At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
This position is based in Indianapolis, IN. The role may require travel to project or client locations.

Preferred Qualifications
Completed at least 2-4 end‑to‑end implementation projects and at least 2 where performed as Solution Architect at client location. Experience in multiple full‑lifecycle SAP EWM project implementations.
Experience integrating EWM with automated systems like ASRS, AGV, LIFT, Scheduler, AMR, conveyors, pallet exchangers, etc.
Experience integrating EWM with MES and S/4 modules such as Manufacturing and Quality Management.
Good knowledge in Inventory Management, Stock transfers, Special stocks, Stock types, Physical Inventory, Account Determination and Valuation.
Good knowledge in WM Master Data, Inbound/Outbound delivery processing, Transfer Orders, Cycle Counts, Inventory reconciliation, Shipping and Transportation Management, Mobile Data Entry and RF units.
Good knowledge in EWM areas such as Integration with ECC, Inbound Processing, Outbound Processing, Physical Inventory, RF Transactions, HU Management, Transportation Units, Production Integration, Kitting, Cold chain management, etc.
Knowledge of integration aspects with modules SD, MM, PP, and QM.
Understanding of business processes in the life sciences and pharmaceutical domain.
Ability to understand business requirements from users and prepare requirement documents and functional specifications.
Understanding of GXP and SOX requirements; experience in a highly regulated environment.
Awareness of release governance processes and experience with incident management and testing tools.
Experience resolving post‑go‑live critical issues until stabilization.
Experience working with non‑ECC systems such as MES, WES using interfaces like PI, ALE, REST, etc.
Basic understanding of custom code and debugging skills.
Leadership capability to guide the team for successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
Proposing solutions and guiding team members for blueprinting sessions.
Integrating with other satellite systems/vendors to create an integrated solution for the client.
Presenting solutions in architect/design meetings and obtaining approval for deployment.
Liase with client business teams and advise the client.
Engage with customers on a day‑to‑day basis to build confidence.
Prepare proposals and effort estimates for upcoming projects.
Track team deliverables regularly and report to customers.
Propose the best possible solution in the EWM domain.
ABAP debugging.
Knowledge of S/4 modules such as MM, SD, TM, PP, and QM.
Knowledge of integration of S/4 with other systems such as MES.
The job may entail extensive travel. It may also require sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively by telephone, email, and face‑to‑face.
