The Finance Director is a senior leadership role responsible for leading the financial strategy, controlling processes, and overall fiscal management of the freight forwarding business for Gebruder Weiss N.A.
Your Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or related field; CPA/CA/ACCA/CMA prefered 10+ years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain required Strong knowledge of international logistics, trade compliance and customs regulations Already gathered some experience in an international environment Advanced profiency in ERP/TMA systems and financial modeling Excellent communication and organizational abilities; able to work under pressure Your Duties
Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with business goals Provide startegic financial insights for pricing, trade lanes, procurement and expansion Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing with accurate P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting Implement internal controls and ensure IFRS/local GAAP compliance Lead internal and external audits; mitigate financial and operational risks Optimize cash flow through AR/AP management and credit control Manage banking relationships, treasury operations, FX exposure, and liquidity planning What We Offer
