The Customer Insights & Performance team, part of Strategy, Insights & Brand Operations, shapes how Starbucks understands and serves its customers. We transform customer intelligence and performance analytics into actionable recommendations that influence marketing, product development, digital engagement, and the overall customer experience.

In this role, you will champion customer understanding across the enterprise and translate insights into actionable recommendations. By enabling cross‑functional teams, you’ll ensure every decision reflects the voice of the customer and drives meaningful impact on the Starbucks experience.

Create a unified view of the customer for leadership through compelling storytelling and synthesis of insights.

Collaborate with marketing, product, and digital teams to ensure customer insights inform planning and execution.

Translate complex data into actionable insights that guide decisions and investments across the business.

Act as the voice of the customer in strategic discussions, shaping priorities and identifying growth opportunities.

Monitor emerging trends and evolving customer needs to recommend actions that enhance the customer experience.

We’d Love To Hear From People With

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience (or four years US military experience in a related MOS/C); MBA preferred.

8+ years of experience in customer insights, consulting, or related roles.

Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; able to influence senior stakeholders.

Proven ability to lead development of customer strategies from conception to implementation.

Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Familiarity with customer research methodologies and performance measurement frameworks.

If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
