As Senior Manager, Product Design, you will be responsible for leading a team of Product Designers in creating best-in‑class product solutions for investment professionals, enabling better investment strategies and decisions. In partnership with Product Management and Engineering leaders across your product domains, you will identify and prioritize the most significant opportunities to create value for customers and the business, establish strategic and delivery objectives for your teams, and lead the delivery of product experiences that ensure both business and customer success.

With your expertise in all aspects of user‑centered design and creative leadership, you will inspire and guide designers to develop a deep understanding of our customers and the financial markets in which they operate and craft holistic and intuitive experiences that empower them to achieve their goals. You will cultivate a strong sense of product ownership and commitment in your team members, guiding them in leveraging both traditional and emerging technologies to create innovative products that exceed customer expectations and deliver exceptional value.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Lead, grow, and inspire a diverse team of product designers and emerging design leaders, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Partner with product management and engineering to identify high‑impact customer and business opportunities and develop strategies, goals, and delivery priorities to achieve strong business outcomes

Lead and successfully deliver on larger projects and initiatives, managing ambiguity and high complexity, contributing to the success of multiple areas of the business

Lead your team to deliver holistic and intuitive product experiences that simplify complex workflows and enable users to leverage rich data and insights in a comprehensible and actionable manner

Coach and develop systems thinking, generative ideation, and effective experience design with agility, and ensure product design work is delivered on time and with exceptional quality

Lead and support your team in presenting strategies and design solutions to cross‑functional stakeholders across the company, including executive team members

Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies, trends, financial technology markets, and user behaviors and leveraging them in leading your team to deliver breakthrough solutions

Drive continuous improvement in your team and your own work; seek new methods and practices, including the adoption of AI in design workflows, that lead to greater impact and value

Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors

Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Digital Design, Human Centered Design, Psychology, or equivalent

8+ years of professional experience in hands‑on design of digital product experiences, with an emphasis on enterprise‑level, B2B solutions

4+ years of experience in a design leadership and people management capacity

Expert‑level knowledge of user‑centered design practices and demonstrated experience applying them to deliver end‑to‑end projects and achieve business and market outcomes

Experience managing teams, organizing priorities, and leading product delivery with discipline and a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Portfolio of past work as a contributor and leader that demonstrates expertise in user research, information architecture, interaction design, and the ability to solve enterprise‑level design challenges

Strong demonstration of strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to lead designers in creating products that deliver user value and business results

Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate product design strategies and execution, and how they deliver business and customer value

Strong analytical skills, using qualitative and quantitative data to guide design decisions

Intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and a collaboration‑driven interaction style with the ability to build relationships, foster trust, and develop shared understanding

Proficiency with design, analysis, and collaboration tools, such as Figma, Lucid, Mixpanel, Jira, and Confluence with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily

Demonstrated ability to use AI and automation tools to streamline and scale design delivery

Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Compensation

Annual base salary: $215,000-$225,000

Target annual bonus percentage: 20%

This role is expected to be in the office 5 days a week.

The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on‑going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
