About the Role As Senior Manager, Product Design, you will lead a team of Product Designers to create best‑in‑class solutions for investment professionals. Working in partnership with Product Management and Engineering, you will identify high‑impact opportunities, set strategic objectives, and guide the delivery of product experiences that deliver business and customer value. Your leadership will shape a strong design culture, improve design operations, and drive the growth of team members and craft.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Lead, grow, and inspire a diverse team of product designers and emerging leaders, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Partner with product management and engineering to identify high‑impact customer and business opportunities and develop strategies, goals, and delivery priorities to achieve strong business outcomes.

Lead and successfully deliver larger projects and initiatives, managing ambiguity and high complexity across multiple business areas.

Guide your team to deliver holistic, intuitive product experiences that simplify complex workflows and enable users to leverage rich data and insights in a comprehensible, actionable manner.

Coach and develop systems thinking, generative ideation, and effective experience design with agility; ensure product design work is delivered on time and with exceptional quality.

Support your team in presenting strategies and design solutions to cross‑functional stakeholders, including executive members.

Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies, fintech trends, and user behaviors, and leverage them to deliver breakthrough solutions.

Continuously improve your team and your own work; adopt AI and new practices to increase impact and value.

Model company vision and values, encouraging desired behaviors and best practices.

Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Digital Design, Human Centered Design, Psychology, or equivalent.

8+ years of professional experience designing digital product experiences, focusing on enterprise‑level B2B solutions.

4+ years of experience in design leadership and people management.

Expert‑level user‑centered design knowledge and proven track record of delivering end‑to‑end projects that achieve business outcomes.

Experience managing teams, organizing priorities, and leading product delivery with discipline and accountability.

Portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, information architecture, interaction design, and solving enterprise‑level design challenges.

Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to lead designers to deliver user value and business results.

Clear communication of product design strategies, execution, and business value.

Strong analytical skills, using qualitative and quantitative data to guide design decisions.

Intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and a collaborative interaction style that builds trust and shared understanding.

Proficiency with design, analysis, and collaboration tools such as Figma, Lucid, Mixpanel, Jira, and Confluence; quick to learn new systems.

Experience using AI and automation tools to streamline and scale design delivery.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Compensation

Annual base salary: $215,000-$225,000.

Target annual bonus percentage: 20%.

Working Conditions PitchBook values in‑person collaboration, emphasizing spontaneous brainstorming and shared celebrations across our global offices. This role is expected to be in the office five days a week. Standard office setting includes PC and phone usage throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
