Senior Manager, Outsourcing Advisory Services
Location: Seattle, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco (salary varies by location)
What You’ll Do
Define and advise on outsourcing strategies and vendor relationships, including IT outsourcing and business process outsourcing.
Serve as a delivery leader on engagements of moderate-to-high complexity and scale, communicating directly with client sponsors.
Work with clients to develop detailed technical/operational requirements, service level agreements, pricing strategies, and RFP documents.
Evaluate vendor proposals from a technical, operational, pricing/financial, and contractual perspective.
Support clients through the contract negotiation process.
Oversee engagement scope, budget, deliverables, profitability, work management, change management, vendor management, and team development.
Achieve business development goals through networking and educating partners.
Originate and create methodologies, project assets, and tools.
Manage and mentor a team of consultants, fostering professional growth.
Provide quality assurance review on junior team members’ approaches and deliverables.
Engage in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting consultants.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
8+ years of outsourcing advisory experience and at least 2-3 years in a business consulting environment.
Expert program manager with extensive experience managing outsourcing advisory engagements.
People management experience and passion for coaching juniors.
Business development experience in farming leads and managing sales processes.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong data visualization and analysis skills, proficient in Excel.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Success within West Monroe’s core industries (Consumer & Industrial Products, Healthcare, Life Sciences, High Tech & Software, Utilities, Insurance, Banking, Private Equity).
