Senior Director of Capture Excellence
KBR, Inc. offers a leadership role focused on federal government capture excellence for the Science & Space (S&S) organization. The Senior Director will report to the Vice President of Growth for S&S and oversee a capture team of roughly 11 direct reports.

Responsibilities
Develop and lead capture managers through the full business development lifecycle.
Ensure capture leaders leverage KBR’s capture process to fully understand opportunity, customer, and competition.
Mentor and lead the team, fostering skill development across the entire business development cycle.
Participate in milestone and color team reviews; provide value to enhance solutions.
Assist leaders in developing thorough capture plans and drive win strategies, technical and management approaches.
Improve capture excellence through process improvement, training, strategic thinking, and disciplined capture approach.
Qualifications
Growth‑minded individual with a minimum of 20 years’ experience managing federal government business development and capture teams of 10+ people.
Successful track record in pursuing Single Award contracts valued greater than $300M.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related technical field.
Demonstrated success in business growth.
Strong business writing skills, both technical and non‑technical.
Experience managing the pipeline and utilizing tools such as Salesforce.
Ability to work with senior business and government leaders and provide workplace leadership.
Experience with competitive analysis and strategic pricing.
Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with executives and lead teams.
Experience winning large‑scale federal programs over $300M.
Experience developing account plans and capture plans for new business opportunities.
Proven individual BD and/or capture experience with demonstrated wins.
Basic Compensation $226,800.00 – $340,100.00
Additional Compensation Optional bonuses, commissions, sign‑on or relocation bonuses, short‑term and long‑term incentives, discretionary payments for exceptional performance, per internal policy or contractual designation.
