About the Position

Location: Seattle, Washington (remote/teleworker).

Role: Senior Pre‑Sales Systems Engineer on the Mobility Team.

Primary focus: deliver technical pre‑sales support for HPE Networking solutions to Tier‑1 mobility service providers.

Collaborate with Account Managers in the Wireless segment.

Drive the customer technology decision process to closure.

Responsibilities

Own the customer technical decision maker and create a technology roadmap for a Tier‑1 mobility service provider.

Consultative selling: present and articulate the capabilities and value of HPE Networking solutions.

Provide pre‑sales technical support and solution design; craft proposals and demonstrations.

Partner with internal networks and industry experts to anticipate customer needs.

Lead discussions on virtualization, automation, network security and emerging technologies.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop innovative, tailored solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 6+ years technical professional pre‑sales/post‑sales experience.

Expert knowledge of routing technologies – MPLS, Segment Routing, BGP, etc.; experience with security, automation, cloud/DC, network virtualization.

History of working in service‑provider networks in a technical or pre‑sales role.

Relevant certifications (HPE, Juniper, Cisco – e.g., JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE, CISSP, CCIE).

Strong customer‑first communication skills and ability to translate product knowledge into business value.

Knowledge or curiosity about network automation, virtualization, agentic AI and MCP.

Experience with Python, Ansible, Netconf‑YANG, JSON, Openconfig is desirable.

Salary Range USD Annual Salary: $146,000.00 – $343,000.00.
