You want to be the boss? Well now's your chance – Domino's Pizza is hiring bosses – more specifically general managers. It's a tough job, one that needs a natural like you. Of course, you'll need some skills – judgment, math and the ability to multitask. You'll be working for a company that's fun and flexible, and it’s work experience you’ll use for a long time to come.
Job Responsibilities
You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations.
You must set the example and follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew.
Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, scheduling, maintaining a perfect image and adherence to standards, excellent customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, profitability.
Qualifications
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers; give correct written instructions.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; make correct monetary change.
Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Physical Requirements
Standing – most tasks performed standing.
Walking – short distances for short durations.
Lifting – bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds.
Carrying – large cans, pizza sauce, and trays of dough (approximately 12 lbs per tray).
Pushing – move trays on dollies (approx. 24"–30", force up to 7.5 lbs).
Climbing – occasional stairs or ladder to change prices on signs or perform maintenance.
Stooping / bending, crouching / squatting, reaching up/down/forward (e.g., over 72″ for oven controls).
Hand tasks requiring eye‑hand coordination, frequent use of forearms and wrists, manipulation of pizza peel, rolling cutter, and cardboard pizza boxes.
Driving Duties
Deliver product by car to customer door.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Driving Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
