The Title IX Coordinator and Director, Civil Rights Compliance is responsible for strategic leadership of institutional efforts toward civil rights compliance, access, awareness, education, and response in alignment with federal and state discrimination and harassment laws as well as related University law and policies. Oversight includes laws and policies regarding sexual misconduct and protected class discrimination and harassment. Responsibilities

Provides oversight of response and resolution to all reports of sexual misconduct, (including Title IX and non-Title IX), protected class discrimination and harassment, and related misconduct. Identifies and addresses systemic problems relating to complaints pursuant to Title VI, Title VII, and Title IX, and ADA while working with appropriate university departments to ensure Title IX and University law and policies related to sexual misconduct are communicated to all constituencies. Responsible for the coordination of the University's efforts to comply with statutory and regulatory requirements related to Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, Access in managing the ongoing implementation of the University's Policy on prohibited discrimination, harassment, and related misconduct. Assist in enforcing workplace policies regarding disability rights, access, and accommodations. Ensure adherence to ADA standards and develop/revise policies to support accessibility and non-discrimination. Provides leadership to a team of professionals. Serves as the central point of coordination for Title IX compliance among University offices and committees with responsibilities relating to Title IX and institutional leadership on matters related to discrimination, harassment, and Title IX. Oversees the development, implementation, and review of educational programs, practices, and initiatives designed to educate and support the University community regarding their rights and obligations to ensure compliance with Title IX, related federal and state laws and University policies and regulations. Serve as advisory board member of units across institution. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and eight (8) years of related experience with experience in a management role, or Master's degree and six (6) years of professional related experience with experience in a management role. Departmental Requirements
