Our stores close at 2 pm.
Location: 1095 E Brokaw Rd Ste 10, San Jose, California 95131
Responsibilities Our General Managers oversee all aspects of the store with a “treat it like you own it” philosophy. A typical day begins at 4 am with the first bake and opening the store, followed by ensuring the store is audit ready, catering/mobile/in‑store orders are executed, and customers enjoy an exceptional experience. During breakfast and lunch rushes you float in all positions where needed, manage breaks, and generate good customer survey results. At 2 pm you close the store, taking a 30‑45 minute closing and prep period, and handle the daily deposit to the bank.
Successful GMs have 1‑3 years prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting, hands‑on operations, and the ability to motivate and inspire the team. Prior exposure to P&L analysis is valuable, with strategies for achieving food cost goals and labor targets required. Recruiting quality team members and developing internal talent are key functions.
Qualifications
At least 18 years old.
1‑3 years of prior GM or Assistant GM experience.
Experience with P&L analysis and food cost or labor target goals.
Strong recruiting and talent development skills.
Hands‑on ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Benefits & Compensation
Competitive Pay: $70,000‑$74,000 (annually)
Hourly rate: $23.65‑$35.48 per hour (subject to local and state minimum wage regulations).

Paid Time Off: 180 hours accrued in the first year.
No nights or evenings – operating hours 6 am‑2 pm.
Promotion opportunities: 80 % of new District Managers in 2022 were promoted from GM.

Physical Demands The role requires sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours. These requirements may be accommodated reasonably.
