LHH is working with an amazing Non-Profit company located in San Francisco who is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to join the team. As a company, they are committed to providing exceptional service and make a true difference in the local community,
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the accounting team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Provide financial analysis and support to the management team.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Handle any ad-hoc accounting projects as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
