Responsibilities Team Introduction
Performance & Incentives (P&I) are powerful tools for furthering the company's strategic goals. A robust Performance & Incentives (P&I) strategy influences the organization's ability to attract and retain the best talent, while creating a strong alignment of individuals' interests with the organization's strategic goals. The Performance & Incentives team at ByteDance, therefore, are constantly benchmarking and striving for the best practice & return on investment in developing competitive C&B policies. The Performance & Incentives team works on a lot of interesting problems. Whether it is developing new world‑class compensation policies, diving deep into market research, analyzing big data and benchmarking. The Performance & Incentives team work on a lot of cool and exciting projects to come up with the best ways to serve our organization. Given the nature of our work, it also creates huge opportunities for collaboration with departments in and outside of the HR organization.
Design benefit strategy for LATAM region, Portugal and Spain to ensure adequacy, compliance and competitiveness;
Liaise and collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. HR Operations, HRBPs, Legal, etc.) and external vendors (brokers and insurers) on project delivery;
Collect and monitor global legislation and benchmark trends;
Handle escalations together with HR Ops/HRBPs and advise on the benefits policies and solutions;
Contribute to global projects and roll out global initiatives with local context in mind.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
Strong analytical and market research capabilities: gather market data, analyze trends, and conduct surveys;
Great communication skills: be able to communicate effectively with employees, the broad HR team and business lead & also be comfortable presenting programs and plans to employee groups, HR and leadership teams;
Great report writing skills: be able to write proposals based on research and analysis, which is presentable to stakeholders;
Strong ownership, ethics and discretion: be able to reach the goal with mission. Deal with confidential information and therefore, must be ethical and discrete when it comes to handling sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferably to have at least 3 years of experience in HR/Benefits area, experience in‑house or consulting is preferred.

Job Information 【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually) The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $79,800 - $132,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
