Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health
is the first new full‑service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system establishes a robust network of care for all District residents, especially ensuring residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. The hospital includes trauma care with a helipad, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, a NICU, intensive care, medical/surgical care, telemetry care, and a soon‑to‑be open ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services.
We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Multispecialty Nurse Manager. The manager will oversee day‑to‑day operations of the hospital’s medical surgical department, including overall delivery and quality of patient care, and will assist with developing and implementing performance initiatives to ensure optimal patient safety outcomes, state and regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities include managing workforce activities, ensuring quality, productivity, and efficiency while supporting strategic and operational objectives.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program
BSN required, MSN preferred
BLS and ACLS required
DC RN license required
Three years of medical surgical/telemetry/ortho/neuro experience required
Skills
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and focused during high‑pressure situations
Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety
Demonstrated proven track record of commitment, with the ability to sustain employment for a minimum of two years
