Responsibilities Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system establishes a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it ensures residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. This full-service hospital includes trauma care with a helipad for emergency transport, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, a NICU, Intensive care, Medical/Surgical care, Telemetry care, and a soon-to-be open ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services. We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Multispecialty Nurse Manager. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the hospital’s Medical Surgical department, including overall delivery and quality of patient care. This manager will assist with developing and implementing performance initiatives, ensuring optimal patient safety outcomes, as well as state and regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction. Their daily responsibilities include managing daily work activities, ensuring quality, productivity and efficiency while assisting in accomplishing strategic and operational objectives.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
BSN required, MSN preferred
BLS and ACLS required
DC RN license required
Three years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry/Ortho/Neuro experience required
