Clinical Nurse Educator - Boston, MA

Job Summary The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) will be an essential role within the UroGen field organization. The CNE will educate HCPs and pharmacists regarding UroGen’s product(s) safety and efficacy profile, proper utilization, and follow‑up recommendations. The CNE will be part of the sales team, coordinating with Managers to determine priority accounts and pull‑through activities, and assisting Managers in training new sales professionals.
Job Requirements
B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent
Registered Nurse license required
Active health care license in at least one state covered
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in critical care
Over 5 years of experience as a CNE
Solid interpersonal skills and ability to lead without formal authority
Valid driver’s license
Ability to travel up to 4 nights/week
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior pharmaceutical or nursing experience
Comfortable delivering presentations to both small and large groups
Live near a major airport
Job Responsibilities
Assist practices in understanding the safety and efficacy profile of company products, proper utilization, and handling all material related to procedures and education.
Provide non‑CME educational programs designed by UroGen to practices and organizations.
Assist with the initial set‑up of office‑delivered patient education materials (direct patient/CNE interactions are not anticipated).
Serve as the medical information expert on the sales team in each region.
Address questions regarding UroGen’s product(s).
Keep accurate records of accounts visited and items discussed.
Collaborate with Sales Managers to develop and maintain a targeted business plan and database for regional execution.
Travel up to 60% of the time.
Attend medical and nursing meetings nationally and locally, including coverage on weekends.
Book travel and hotel stays while in the field.
Submit expense reports for all business‑related expenses every two weeks, but no less than once a month.
