Job Summary The Architect, IT Applications (Architect) is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining information technology applications that enable business objectives. This Architect may work with several business departments with primary focus being commercial activity. The Architect will collaborate closely with business leaders, vendors, and other Information Technology associates to identify, design, and execute IT projects that enhance UroGen’s commercial functions.
Job Requirements
Minimum five years of IT experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, implementing applications across multiple business areas.
Experience administering "cloud based" systems.
Experience managing EDI transactions between partner companies.
Knowledgeable with Commercial and Supply Chain processes and technologies.
Experience collaborating with consultants, both onshore and offshore.
Ability to facilitate a shared understanding of business problem and the possible solutions.
Consistent track record of on-time and on-budget implementations.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required.
Ability to communicate cross functionally and assist in developing best practices in IT.
Resourceful, creative, enthusiastic, and results oriented.
Well versed in compliance regulations, including GxP, HIPAA, CFR 21 Part 11.
Job Responsibilities
Analyze business objectives to determine the best technology to implement them.
Interact with consultants and managed service providers.
Business Process Analysis.
Requirements Gathering.
Provide input on the cross‑functional IT portfolio, have input on specific cross‑functional projects, and ensure core business requirements are understood for those projects.
In partnership with Legal Compliance and Quality, manage Urogen IT standards for IT compliance with regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
