Job Description The Manufacturing Supervisor I/II has functional responsibility for aseptic manufacturing operations such as compounding, operations, preparation, filtration, filling, and lyophilization in the SVP manufacturing department.

Supervise assigned manufacturing operations, including processing source materials, equipment and component preparation and sterilization, aseptic filtration, aseptic filling, lyophilization, inspection, and packaging. Report operational status to the next level of management and all affected peers on a daily basis.

Review and update manufacturing documentation associated with the manufacturing areas.

Provide cGMP, job task, and safety training for personnel in the manufacturing areas.

Generate, update, and maintain area Standard Operating Procedures and BPRs. Ensure compliance with cGMP through observation, training, and auditing.

Supervise hourly employee performance, including compliance with SOPs, cGMPs, and safety regulations.

Perform deviation investigations related to the assigned area of responsibility and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Order production supplies and equipment required to manufacture product.

Prepare production‑monitoring reports and participate in analysis of product cost and budgeting process.

Interview new employees, provide coaching and counseling to area personnel, conduct performance evaluations, set objectives, and assist management with disciplinary actions.

Analyze and make recommendations regarding capital expenditures and efficiency improvements in the manufacturing areas.

Interact with supporting departments (e.g., Quality Assurance, Maintenance, PIC, etc.) to ensure production line problems are addressed promptly with appropriate quality considerations.

Schedule validation of processes and equipment.

Ensure all environmental monitoring limits are maintained in all areas.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.

Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry, or related hard science strongly preferred.

2 years of progressive responsible roles in a manufacturing environment required.

Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Supervisor II Additional Qualifications

2+ years of supervisory experience required.

2+ years of experience in aseptic areas strongly preferred.

Shift Weekend Days, Friday–Sunday E/O Thursday 6am–6pm.

This is an on‑site, full‑time position located in Spokane, WA.

Compensation Supervisor I: $81,825.00 – $130,900 per year.

Supervisor II: $89,250.00 – $142,800 per year, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth, promotion, and annual raises.

Shift differential pay is available for this position and is determined by hours worked on the selected shift.
