Title Senior Engineering Manager
Employee role People Manager
Opportunity The Graph team is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of accomplished engineers to deliver our first release. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction, strategy, and culture of our team. This role is ideal for a leader who is both people-focused and technically astute—someone who can translate product vision into scalable systems while fostering an environment of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Project Graph is a new creative system that lets you combine first and third‑party AI models, Adobe tools, and custom interactive components inside a visual, designer-friendly node graph editor. Connect a library of tactile, interactive components that bring creative control of AI back to your fingertips. Transform ideas into powerful workflows and modular tools that run anywhere, from the web to Adobe apps like Photoshop. And if you’d rather focus on creating than building, you can tap into a growing ecosystem of community-built tools without ever opening the editor.
Responsibilities
Manage a team of engineers to deliver the first release of the Graph product.
Work closely with design, product, and program management to define priorities, user experience, product roadmap, and schedule.
Take ownership of the development life cycle, closely supervise progress, identify risks and opportunities, and report progress to senior leadership.
Play a pivotal role in attracting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining exceptional engineers through mentorship, and grow them professionally and personally.
Rely on a combination of data and instincts to make informed decisions and drive the team's progress quickly. Balance speed and quality to achieve goals.
Cultivate an environment that embraces teamwork, celebrates achievements, and fosters collaboration for shared success.
Be a great leader and teammate: Collaboration is key to our success, and you will lead by example.
Advocate for engineering excellence, contributing to the architecture and high-level structure of our applications. Ensure products are built with high quality and scalability.
Lead your team and contribute to driving culture and process improvements across the broader engineering organization.
Qualifications
BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of demonstrated experience in software engineering with deep understanding of development principles.
Proven experience leading software engineering teams, delivering high-quality solutions.
Strong technical background, analytical abilities, and experience developing commercially successful web applications.
Excellent technical skills in evaluating systems architecture with extensive knowledge of full-stack technologies.
Drive consensus on requirements, ensure timely decision-making, provide guidance, prioritize tasks, and optimize scope and time.
Passion for collaborating with design teams from concept to production; facilitation of effective communication.
Track record of leading, coaching, and mentoring software engineers, creating an environment of positivity and growth.
Adapt to different cultures, time zones, and work styles.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets; the U.S. pay range for this position is $154,700 – $320,000 annually. Pay may vary by location and other factors.
