Associate Engineer, Product Support – Trinity Life Sciences
Join Trinity Life Sciences as an Associate Engineer, Product Support in the Data & Analytics team. This role is ideal for an early career professional eager to learn and grow in a fast‑paced production environment. You will support system reliability, contribute to release management, enhance monitoring capabilities, and participate in on‑call rotations to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor production systems to ensure uptime and performance.
Respond to alerts and troubleshoot issues under guidance from senior team members.
Document incidents and resolutions for future reference.
Assist in coordinating and executing production releases, validate deployments and ensure proper rollback procedures.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure release readiness.
Contribute to improving system monitoring and alerting tools; identify gaps in coverage and propose enhancements.
Support implementation of new dashboards and metrics.
Assist in automating routine support tasks and deployment processes; learn and apply DevOps tools and practices (Git, Jenkins, Docker).
Support CI/CD pipeline maintenance and configuration.
Write and optimize basic SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting; support database maintenance and performance tuning under supervision.
Participate in on‑call rotation to provide after‑hours support for critical issues; Escalate incidents appropriately.
Work closely with DevOps, engineering, and analytics teams; communicate production status and incident updates to stakeholders; participate in team meetings and contribute to operational planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in production support, technical operations, or DevOps.
Basic proficiency in SQL and scripting (Python, PowerShell).
Exposure to cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and ETL workflows.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and concepts is a plus.
Strong problem‑solving skills and eagerness to learn.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to participate in on‑call rotations.
Compensation and Benefits Trinity’s salary bands account for a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions, including skill sets, market demand, level of experience, specific qualifications, performance, location, and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is
$70,000 - $85,000 . In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
