Scope of Work The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice, utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nursing and Operational Leadership according to policies and procedures within an ambulatory setting. Engages in discussions to obtain prior authorizations for imaging and medications. Investigates programs to assist patients with medication costs/co-pays.

Qualifications

Required Associate’s Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate’s degree or equivalent.

Preferred Bachelor's Degree B.S.N., or M.S.N., or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years required. Preferred effective September 2024.

LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or

CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required

CRT-At least one Certification from preferred list - UNKNOWN Unknown Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation Upon Hire required
