About the Role Sodexo is seeking an experienced Patient Experience Manager 2 to lead daily operations for our food team at Christiana Hospital, located in Newark, DE. This position will be dedicated to the CCHS Newark campus (1,039 bed facility) with responsibility for facilitating system virtual meetings. It will act as a resource for the other two campuses but will not require daily travel between campuses.

What You’ll Do

Lead a team of patient experience managers overseeing all food service activities on patient care units.

Deliver outcomes and enhance the patient dining experience.

Round with existing patients, families, and nursing personnel.

Collaborate with hospital clinical and administrative leadership.

Collect, organize, and trend data.

Communicate findings with Nutrition Services and interdisciplinary teams.

Network with other hospitals to identify best practices.

Oversee the Diet Office and supervise hourly staff & patient services staff.

Conduct daily patient meal rounding using Service Depot; interact with patients and nursing staff.

Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to increase patient satisfaction.

Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance.

Oversee patient tray line to ensure meal accuracy.

What You Bring

Experience working closely with Clinical Nutrition teams.

Act as liaison between dietitians and nurse managers.

Collaborate with other Sodexo Managers to enhance patient and dining experience.

Regularly analyze patient satisfaction data and implement additional measurements and action plans to improve unit performance.

Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years.
