CRNA - PRN
Join GI Alliance as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) on a PRN basis. The role requires an experienced practitioner to provide anesthesia care as needed under physician supervision.
Position Purpose Deliver high‑quality anesthesia services in a multispecialty physician group environment.
Responsibilities
Perform all aspects of airway management.
Facilitate emergence and recovery, evaluate patient response and administer medications, fluids, and support as needed.
Initiate and administer post‑anesthesia pharmacological or fluid support for the cardiovascular system.
Provide respiratory support to ensure adequate ventilation and oxygenation during the post‑anesthesia period.
Conduct post‑anesthesia follow‑up evaluation and care.
Discharge patients from the post‑anesthesia care unit.
Monitor life functions and take corrective action during adverse responses.
Terminate anesthesia promptly, ensuring patient safety to the post‑anesthetic recovery room.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.
Valid CRNA certification required.
Minimum of two years progressive experience in a multispecialty physician group model preferred.
Performance Requirements
Transport patients in stretchers to various rooms/locations.
Perform clinically as a nurse anesthetist in the facility setting on a regular basis.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clinical staff.
Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care.
Knowledge of infection prevention and control techniques.
Apply principles of growth and development over the lifespan and assess data relative to patient needs.
Proficient technical (computer) skills.
Multi‑task and prioritize.
Self‑motivated with initiative.
Strong sense of ethics.
Manage conflict and resolve problems.
