Regional Director of Sales
We are Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy, a long‑term care pharmacy that provides specialized care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the United States. We have been providing long‑term care pharmacy services since 2007 and originate from Tarrytown Pharmacy, a local community pharmacy since 1941.
Description The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for marketing Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy services to I/DD (Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities) and ICF (Intermediate Care Facilities) agencies and communities in their designated territory. Candidates with prior IDD and ICF pharmacy experience, or experience selling products, services and/or software to IDD and ICF communities, are highly preferred. Healthcare sales, IDD operational experience, and pharmacy operations experience are also welcome.
Hours Monday–Friday 9 AM–5 PM EST. The position is primarily remote in Illinois with travel (6–8 overnight stays per month).

Duties and Responsibilities
Market and sell pharmacy services to regional I/DD and ICF communities within the designated territory.
Meet and exceed regional sales goals and quota.
Develop and maintain strong knowledge of I/DD and ICF prospects and contacts in your designated territory.
Coordinate with the Chief Sales Officer and team leadership to evaluate and qualify new sales opportunities.
Conduct “in‑person” and “virtual” presentations to prospects; experience presenting via Zoom, Teams, and/or RingCentral.
Identify new sales opportunities through prospecting, referrals, market data, CRM, and communication (verbally and in writing) with I/DD and ICF communities and agencies.
Develop a strategic territory plan, including prioritization and targeting of prospects, coordination with trade shows, state associations, networking, and other marketing initiatives.
Participate in local, state, national trade shows and other marketing initiatives as required.
Complete sales updates, tracking and reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
Document sales activity in company CRM software.
Coordinate with other pharmacy departments as required, including Operations, Finance, and leadership team.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
5+ years of proven ability to exceed sales goals in a healthcare‑related sales role or 5+ years of relevant operational experience.
Licensure or job experience as a nurse, pharmacist, executive director, residential director, or related role is a plus.
Prior IDD pharmacy experience or experience selling products, services, and/or software to IDD and ICF communities is highly preferred.
Ability to work remotely in Illinois year‑round.
Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
History of success working remotely.
Experience attending and marketing services at trade shows and other events.
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word is required.
Results orientation, adaptability, sales process methods, product/service knowledge.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Strong planning and organization skills.
Ability to travel as needed, including an average of 6–8 nights per month.
Own reliable transportation.
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident; sponsorship is not available.
