With a strong focus on financial integrity and operational excellence, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Accounting Lead to join our dynamic finance team. Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Corporate Accounting Lead to oversee and manage our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting management, extensive knowledge of US GAAP, and expertise in ASC 606. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and the ability to drive process improvements while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the corporate accounting team, overseeing day-to-day operations and providing guidance on complex accounting issues Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and other applicable accounting standards Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain financial integrity and compliance Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules Oversee revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and other relevant standards Coordinate and manage external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responses to auditor inquiries Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making Monitor and analyze accounting pronouncements and implement changes as required Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA certification 6-10 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Strong proficiency in US GAAP and financial reporting In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 and experience implementing revenue recognition standards Excellent understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred:
Master's degree in Accounting or MBA Experience in a public accounting firm Knowledge of IFRS Experience with financial systems implementations or upgrades Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques
