Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
Ability to negotiate and structure contracts, including first of kind agreements, interpret legal documents, and work with legal to sign and close agreements.
Ability to grasp technical and product concepts and a passion for understanding, and driving the success of Google, products, partners, and the broader ecosystems.
Ability to proactively uncover new strategies or alternatives and effectively influence product and engineering counterparts, with positive intent.
Ability to work in fast paced, collaborative, and ambiguous start-up like environments where thoughtfulness, an entrepreneurial and action oriented mindset, persistent execution will drive success.

The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
Responsibilities
Identify, create, lead, negotiate and implement effective business development agreements and growth strategies that help scale the Google Wallet product and ecosystem.
Partner with government agencies or standard entities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and influence product and partnership strategy, execute partnership initiatives, develop partnership plans and priorities, and influence analysis while developing and communicating recommendations.
Maintain consultative business relationships with external stakeholders and gain exposure to partners’ business initiatives to positively impact Google Wallet growth.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, features, source and secure partners, negotiate and execute business agreements, launch and manage partnerships, and drive continued business growth.
