Ocala, FL . The incoming surgeon will be part of a robust trauma program supported by a full APP team and a dedicated trauma service line.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Board certified / board eligible in Neurosurgery
Spine fellowship training and trauma neurosurgery experience preferred
Focus on hospital-based trauma neurosurgery, managing neuro trauma alerts, trauma consults, follow-up clinic, and participation in peer review & program improvement
Collaborate under the Department of Trauma with full APP support
Participate in trauma center verification, designation, and quality initiatives
Work alongside another dedicated trauma neurosurgeon on a shared schedule
This program is the region’s only
ACS-verified Level I Trauma Center , serving 5 counties and over 1 million residents
Teaching hospital for the University of Central Florida, hosting the UCF/HCA residency consortium
