Summary A large behavioral health organization is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead all operational functions, drive growth, and ensure strong execution across multi-site programs. This role oversees daily operations, performance management, quality, compliance, and strategic expansion while serving as a key partner to ownership. The ideal candidate has deep experience running or scaling a healthcare services business, in mental health or home care.
Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations across all service lines and locations.
Build scalable systems, workflows, and accountability structures.
Oversee compliance, quality assurance, and service delivery standards.
Partner with ownership on business strategy, P&L management, and growth initiatives.
Implement performance metrics, operational reporting, and improvement plans.
Manage and mentor department heads and field leadership teams.
Drive geographic expansion and new program/service development.
Requirements
Proven experience leading operations in behavioral health, mental health, home care, or related healthcare services.
Demonstrated ability to run, grow, and optimize a service-based organization.
Strong executive presence; able to communicate clearly and challenge constructively when needed.
Skilled in systems building, process creation, and operational oversight.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to navigate complex, multi-site environments while driving accountability.
