Job Description Senior Manager Applications Consultant 2
(full-time; multiple openings) needed in Chicago, IL, and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to design, develop, enhance, customize, and integrate software applications. Develop strategic vision, mission & operating model for Enterprise Power Platform COE. Design & develop with PowerApps, Power Automate / Flow, Dataverse, Model Driven App, From/View, fetch XML, Expressions, API connector, PowerApps Portal, Canvas App, Delegation, Optimization, Profiler, Environment, ALM, Solutions, Dataflow. Build a community of Lowcode-Nocode (LCNC) & Power Platform practitioners in the organization. Migrate various legacy/native/InfoPath/SharePoint Designer Workflow/Applications to Platform (Canvas App/Model/Flow/PowerBI) and engage with vendors to address the product gaps & maturity to overcome the limitation to find practical solutions. Strategize cloud cost optimization patterns by managing application infrastructure. Spearhead the team, building foundational services & framework with an 'automation first' mindset to enable the rollout of the Power platform at an enterprise scale and reduce operational costs. Manage a team with work breakdown structure, and strategies with acceptance criteria. Responsible for requirement gathering for business, system study, and various stages of design documentation. Analyze technical system requirements and interrelationships, define system boundaries, create project plans with roles & responsibilities, installation, and configuration. Build near real‑time interfacing and utilize the right mix of tools for the correct use cases to manage the cost and time to market efficiently & effectively. Leverage Azure function with Azure Blob Storage, Key vault when necessary. Design & develop CICD pipeline using PowerShell & Jenkins to promote Power platform from non‑prod to prod environment.
Job Specification Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Business, Engineering (any), Math, or related field, plus five (5) years of IT experience. Must have one (1) year of IT work experience with any one of the following skill sets:
Java, Azure, and AWS;
Agile Methodologies, SCRUM, and DevOps; OR
Toad, PL‑SQL, and Informatica.
In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent), we will accept three (3) years of post‑secondary study in any field, plus three (3) years of IT experience. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs. International travel not required. Travel not to exceed 5% / year for meetings and to complete assigned projects of varying lengths. Telecommuting may be permitted as needed.
