Job Description We are looking for a Senior Manager Applications Consultant 2 (full-time; multiple openings) to operate in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. The role involves designing, developing, enhancing, customizing, and integrating software applications, leading the Enterprise Power Platform Center of Excellence. Responsibilities include:
Develop strategic vision, mission & operating model for Enterprise Power Platform COE.
Design and develop with PowerApps, Power Automate/Flow, Dataverse, Model Driven App, From/View (fetch XML, Expressions), API connector, PowerApps Portal, Canvas App, Delegation, Optimization, Profiler, Environment, ALM, Solutions, Dataflow.
Build a community of Low‑code/No‑code practitioners.
Migrate legacy/native/InfoPath/SharePoint Designer Workflow/Applications to the Platform and engage vendors to address product gaps.
Strategize cloud cost‑optimization patterns and manage application infrastructure.
Spearhead the team, building foundational services & frameworks with an automation‑first mindset to enable enterprise‑scale rollout and cost reduction.
Manage a team with work‑breakdown structure, strategies, and acceptance criteria.
Lead requirement gathering, business and system study, design documentation, technical system analysis, and project planning.
Build near real‑time interfacing and select tools to manage cost and time to market efficiently.
Leverage Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage, Key Vault, and design a CI/CD pipeline using PowerShell & Jenkins.
Job Specification
Must have a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Business, Engineering (any), Math, or related field plus five (5) years of IT experience.
Must have at least one (1) year of experience with any of: Java, Azure, and AWS; Agile methodologies, Scrum, and DevOps; or Toad, PL‑SQL, and Informatica.
In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, we accept three (3) years post‑secondary study in any field plus three (3) years of IT experience.
Travel and relocation to various U.S. locations required; international travel not required; travel not to exceed 5%/year.
Telecommuting may be permitted as needed.
