We are in the early stages of developing a new healthcare facility, and we are looking for passionate and skilled professionals to join us as we prepare to launch this exciting new chapter in patient care for early 2027!
Job Duties
Cardiovascular Surgery for adult cardiac surgical patients
Inpatient, outpatient and OR coverage
Full-time position
Basic Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have M.D., DO, or equivalent education
Completed a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship or integrated program
American BC/BEin Surgery, BC/BE with the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
Open to both new graduates and practicing physicians
Ability to obtain an Indiana medical license
Collaborate and successfully interact with a multi-disciplinary team to promote high-quality patient outcomes.
Requires excellent interpersonal skills and clear written and verbal communication skills.

Delivering on our vision to make Indiana one of the nation’s healthiest states, Indiana University Health expanded into the northeast Indiana market in 2018. Currently, Health operates four primary care clinics, two urgent cares, and a radiology center in the Fort Wayne area. A 40,000-square foot accredited ambulatory care center opened in 2021, with five operating and five procedure rooms for more than 10 different specialties. Riley Children’s Health also operates a clinic in Fort Wayne, providing access close to home to multiple pediatric subspecialty physicians.
A unique partnership with the Indiana University School of Medicine gives our providers access to the most innovative treatments and latest technologies, offering more treatment options than anywhere in the state. IU School of Medicine also creates unique research and teaching opportunities vital to medical advancement.
