Job description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to provide high-level support to attorneys and paralegals across our Corporate and Transactional practices. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and secretarial support to attorneys and paralegals.
• Draft, edit, and proofread complex financial and transactional documents.
• Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel (domestic and international).
• Handle new business intake, expense reports, time entries, and client billing.
• Prepare and maintain paper and electronic client files in compliance with firm policies.
• Coordinate internal meetings and business development activities.
• Answer and direct client calls and emails with professionalism.
• Collaborate with other legal secretaries and firm departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of legal secretarial experience in a law firm setting, supporting multiple attorneys.
• Strong knowledge of corporate transactional and closing processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
