Overview We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care within scope of practice under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or licensed healthcare provider. This role involves medication administration, patient care, documentation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams in a structured clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities · Administer controlled and non-controlled medications via approved routes · Perform clinical procedures including wound care, catheterization, specimen collection, suctioning, oxygen therapy, and dialysis treatments · Operate and monitor hemodialysis equipment during patient care · Assist providers with exams, treatments, and laboratory procedures · Respond to emergencies using first aid, CPR, and approved patient restraints · Observe, document, and report patient conditions, medication reactions, and treatment responses · Deliver direct patient care including vital signs, hygiene assistance, repositioning, and alarm response · Escort patients to appointments and assist with therapeutic or recreational activities · Maintain accurate documentation, medication accountability, and incident reports · Order and maintain medications, supplies, and clinical equipment; perform basic clerical tasks as needed
