Position Overview An acute care hospital in Springfield, Illinois is seeking an experienced

Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

for a

13-week W2 contract assignment

. This role offers competitive weekly pay and guaranteed hours in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.

Job Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients

Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient progress

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams

Document patient care accurately using Cerner EHR

Float to other units as needed based on census and staffing

Participate in on-call rotation as required

Requirements & Qualifications Active Illinois RN license (required)

1 year of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing (required)

Current RN license

BLS Certification or willing to obtain Local candidates accepted

Must meet facility compliance and onboarding requirements
