Pharmacy Technician Compensation The pay for this position is
$18.95 per hour
, plus a
$0.75/hour 2nd shift differential
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Pharmacy Technician Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
Work Location & Type:
Onsite – Jeffersonville, IN 47130
Shift:
2nd Shift Monday: 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Tuesday–Friday: 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Every 3rd Saturday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM (rotational day off)
Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities Assist licensed pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced environment
Prepare, measure, count, package, and label prescription medications accurately
Replenish medication in automated dispensing cells, including opening large quantities of bottles and cases
Ensure proper labeling and instructions for patient use
Maintain a clean, organized dispensing area
Conduct regular inventory rotation to prevent medication expiration
Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations
Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Assist with record-keeping and documentation related to prescriptions and medications
Pharmacy Technician Requirements Indiana Pharmacy Technician License OR National Pharmacy Technician License (mandatory / non-negotiable)
High School Diploma or GED
Previous pharmacy experience
Ability to select and lift products from shelves and carry to order filling lines
Ability to consistently lift: 20–30 lbs. for short distances
15 lbs. on an extended basis
Ability to walk and stand for the duration of the shift
Basic math, reading, and writing skills
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a high-volume or warehouse pharmacy environment
Familiarity with automated dispensing systems
