We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a leading cancer care center in Dallas, TX. Registered Nurse Job Highlights: Location:
Dallas, TX 75231 Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday (No weekends or holidays required). Compensation:
Competitive pay, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
Job Responsibilities: This will be hybrid clinic-chemotherapy infusion role to start. With a goal of transitioning to chemotherapy administration full time. Provide professional nursing care, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to established oncology standards and practices. Conduct patient health assessments, including interviews on current status and medical history. Offer patient and family education, providing psychosocial support as needed. Manage patient care by facilitating clinical operations, including medication refill requests, referrals, diagnostic testing, and appointment scheduling. Triage patient phone calls and document relevant information in patient charts. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and coordinate care. Act as a resource for LPN/LVNs and medical assistants to support clinical excellence. Assist patients in accessing available community resources for additional support.
Qualifications: Education:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Licensure:
Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing in Texas. Experience:
Minimum 1 year of medical oncology nursing experience. Minimum 6 months of Chemotherapy experience
Certification:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
