The primary responsibility of the Back Office Lead is to manage clinical support operations in the delivery of an exceptional overall patient care experience. The Back Office Lead is expected to maintain a high degree of organizational acumen, attentiveness and professionalism. Primary Responsibilities Be proficient in essential Back Office functions and basic Front Office operations. Assist in the training and development of support staff. Assist providers navigate the EHR/EMR features and functions. Ensure optimal patient workflow and minimal wait times. Maintain medical equipment, including x-ray unit. Manage medical supply inventories to support day-to-day operations. Ensure monthly QA of lab, radiology, and control logs are up to date. Assist with patient callbacks, follow-up and appointment reminder calls. Perform patient complaint resolutions while maintaining strict confidentiality. Requirements & Qualifications Medical Assistant Certificate Two (2) years of experience as a Medical Assistant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must be willing to work schedule: Tuesday-Thursday 2PM-8PM, Friday 8AM-2PM, & Saturday 8AM-6PM Exceptional customer service skills High School Diploma (required) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) (preferred) Phlebotomy (Preferred) Additional Information For more information, visit us at https://www.afcurgentcare.com/san-diego #J-18808-Ljbffr
